Muscadet
wine is produced in the Pays
Nantais vineyards, situated around
Nantes city, and belong to the Loire
valley wines. Muscadet
is the name of the grape giving the white fruity
wine of Muscadet,
delicious with sellfish, mussels and oysters
There
are several kinds of Muscadet wines : Muscadet AOC,
Muscadet Sevre et Maine... and some of them are
keeped in wood barrels during the winter. They are
called Muscadet sur Lie (which means on lees)
